movement is medicine
ABOUT DR. KATE
Dr. Kate is originally from Oil City, PA. She received her Bachelors of Health Science from Gannon University in Erie, PA and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. She moved back to the area after working in Pittsburgh and Rochester, NY for a few years. She opened the office in February 2011 and has loved being active in the community that she grew up in.
She has done extensive post graduate work in Active Release Techniuqe, Kinesiotaping, Functional Anatomy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (Rock Blades), Neurokinetic Therapy, BIRTHFIT, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Webster Technique, Pediatrics, and Pelvic Floor Therapy. She is always learning and now delving deeper into more advanced Pelvic Floor Therapy and DNS courses, as well as all things involving movement. Dr. Kate feels whole body wellness and staying active are the keys to lasting health. She addresses your muscular, postural, and rehabilitative needs. The body is complex and requires a comprehensive approach to any problem.
She first started using alternative therapies in 2022 when she introduced Shockwave therapy into her main location in Oil City, PA. She soon added a Class IV Laser and Decompression and has been getting amazing results with a myriad of chronic pain issues ever since.
The results she was able to achieve in Oil City were unlike anything she had ever seen in her 17 years of being a chiropractor and she knew she wanted to make it available to even more people. She decided to open an office in Grove City where she lives with her husband, Ben, two children, Genevieve and Deacon, and lab, Bruno.
Dr. Kate is meticulous about training herself and staff and has since hired and trained 5 Shockwave and Laser providers at both locations. She knows the importance of staying current with techniques as this very new technology evolves. The techniques they are using currently are wildly different from how they used the therapies when they started in 2022.
Dr. Eckert proudly declares, “We have added the motto “Release and Regenerate” to get our chronic and acute pain patients to the point where they can participate in our original motto “Movement is Medicine.” We look forward to shifting being people's first stop instead of last ditch effort for pain intervention in 2025.”
Dr. Kate enjoys staying active by doing yoga, biking, hiking, lifting, skiing, and more. She also enjoys spending lot of quality time with her husband, Ben, yellow lab, Bruno, daughter Genevieve, and son Deacon.

TESTIMONIALS
"II struggled into my thirties with carrying a great deal of tension in my frame with many side effects including shallow breathing, headaches, and poor performance while playing sports and exercising. Honestly, it made anything but a sedentary lifestyle seem unreachable even though I thought I was perfectly healthy."
